Intel i7 or 8 core AMD Prozessor
(Memory) RAM: 8G or more is recommended, for complex and detailed project editing 16GB or more is advisable.
graphic card
Dedicated graphics card with DirectX 9.0c or higher and OpenGL 2.0 or higher with at least 2 GB VRAM.
For Presto GPU rendering: Dedicated nVidia graphics card (CUDA Compute Capability 2.0 or higher)
Onboard graphics cards are not suitable.
That’s how you find out which graphic cards you have in your computer
Windows computer:
Right click on the desktop
If you see “NVIDIA Control Panel” or “NVIDIA Display” in the pop-up window, your computer has an NVIDIA graphics card installed.
Click “NVIDIA Control Panel” or “NVIDIA Display”
In the NVIDIA Control Panel, select in the menu
Here you can read the names of your graphics card (s).
MAC:
Click on the Apple icon
Select “About this Mac”
Click on “Further Information”
Select the entry “Graphics / Monitors” and you will see the name of your graphics card (s) in the right part of the window.
Is the graphics card CUDA capable?
Check the CUDA or Compute Cabability on the following website https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus.
